Phoenix Civil
Phoenix Civil is a Waikato-based civil construction contractor with a track record stretching back to 2013. We deliver earthworks, drainage, roading, and water infrastructure projects for developers, councils, and commercial clients across the North Island.
Our History
The company's roots go back further than the Phoenix Civil name. Originally operating as Spartan South Ltd, the business was based in Canterbury and involved in civil construction work following the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. After relocating back to the Waikato, the company rebranded as Phoenix Civil Ltd — a name that reflects that history of rebuilding.
Combined, the Phoenix Civil ownership team brings over 100 years of experience in the civil industry, giving the company a depth of technical knowledge that carries through every project we take on.
What we do
Phoenix Civil provides a full range of civil construction services, including earthworks, drainage, roading, retaining wall construction, subdivisional development, water and wastewater treatment plant construction, pump station construction, and underpass and bridge construction. We work throughout the North Island, with a strong base in the Waikato region.
